Fees

We aim to keep Wayfinders’ Outpost as accessible as possible while maintaining the small group sizes and high level of support that make the space so unique.

Sessions will run from 10am–3pm, with options for:

  • 1 day per week

  • 2 days per week at a discounted rate

Current fees are expected to be:

  • £35 per day for parent-funded places

  • Reduced rates available for families booking 2 consistent days per week

Accessibility & Support

We believe alternative education should not only be available to those who can easily afford it.

If you are interested in a place but feel finances may be a barrier, please still get in touch. We may be able to offer support, flexible arrangements or subsidised spaces where possible.

We are also currently registering as an Ofsted childcare provider, which we hope will allow some families to reduce costs through eligible childcare support schemes and funding options.

Local Authority Funded Places

The fees above apply to parent-funded placements.

For Local Authority funded placements, an additional 30% applies due to the increased administrative and statutory requirements involved, including:

  • Progress reports and documentation

  • Review meetings

  • Multi-agency communication

  • Funding compliance and monitoring requirements

Local Authorities are invoiced on a termly basis with 30-day payment terms.

A Small Community by Design

To protect the atmosphere and quality of the space, numbers are intentionally limited to:

  • 8 Primary spaces

  • 8 Secondary spaces

Thank you for your interest in Wayfinders’ Outpost.

This form is the beginning of a conversation and helps us get to know your child and family a little better. As a small, relationship-led community, we want to ensure the space feels like the right fit for both the young person and the wider group.

Our setting is rooted in democratic, consent-based and trauma-informed principles, with a strong focus on wellbeing, creativity, autonomy and nature-based learning.
