At Wayfinders, we believe every young person deserves access to purposeful, skills-based education.
As a small, progressive provision, we are not able to operate as a state-funded school. This means we do not receive per-pupil government funding, which for Key Stage 3 in England is approximately £6,221 per pupil. Despite this, we are committed to keeping our programmes affordable and accessible, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to opportunity.
Our aim is to demonstrate that a skills-centred curriculum, delivered through smaller groups and personalised pathways can be offered at a cost comparable to government funding, while supporting meaningful and lasting outcomes for young people. We hope this work can contribute to wider conversations and future change within education.
